Lisa Ratzlaff is the owner and President of At Issue Technology, LLC, based in Roseville, California. Lisa has over 15 years of practical litigation experience as a litigation paralegal and litigation support manager for large law firms. She has been in the trenches and understands the legal team’s point of view. Throughout her career, Lisa has specialized in integrating legal technology into the flow of the litigation process. As well as training attorneys, paralegals, and other legal staff how to use a variety of litigation support software, Lisa has also managed all aspects of litigation support technology for many complex litigation cases and has consulted with attorneys and paralegals regarding the management, organization, and presentation of their evidence. Lisa has developed excellent professional relationships with other specialized litigation support service providers to create a seamless network of professionals who can meet all of your needs.Lisa Ratzlaff specializes in Summation iBlaze, CaseSoft’s suite of software (Case Map, Time Map, Note Map, Text Map), Sanction II, and Power Point. Lisa Ratzlaff has been using Summation since 1992 and is a Summation Certified Trainer. Lisa has “lived and breathed” Summation in a fast-paced litigation environment on a daily basis and has discovered the quickest and most useful ways that Summation can help track all that evidence. Lisa is also Case Map and Time Map Support Certified and knows how to customize case files in the software to meet each case’s needs. Lisa has used Power Point and Sanction extensively to help trial attorneys design and present effective electronic presentations during trial and all sorts of hearings and mediations. Lisa Ratzlaff believes in empowering her clients so that they can use as much, or as little, of the technology on their own.
Lisa is continually learning new software applications and stays current with the latest litigation technology trends. Lisa has provided software training to attorneys and staff for over 10 years and spoken at numerous continuing education seminars. Lisa has instructed technology and research courses at the University of California, Davis Extension and MTI Business College paralegal certificate programs.
Lisa has a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Sacramento, a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Southern California, and a Paralegal Certificate from the University of California, Davis Extension University. Lisa is a Past President of the Sacramento Valley Paralegal Association and past representative to the National Federation of Paralegal Associations. Lisa is also a PACE Registered Paralegal.
